Annotation: This article presents the experience of designing extracurricular activities ‟Talking about important things” on the basis of stages and principles of the general subject-oriented technology. The importance of the subject position of students and teachers when conducting ‟Talking about Important Things” classes is shown. The article describes the results of the study of the effectiveness of the lesson on the design of extracurricular activities ‟Talking about Important” on the basis of subject-oriented technology. The total number of respondents was 116 people, including students of the pedagogical university and teachers of educational organisations. The study of the results of the application of this pedagogical tool showed its high efficiency. However, the study also showed that some teachers are not ready to apply subject-oriented technology in the framework of extracurricular activities ‟Conversations about important things”.
