- Annotation: This article presents the results of a theoretical and empirical study of the problems of the formation of information and psychological security of the personality of students and the strengthening of their social health in conditions of the intensive involvement of children and young people in the open information Internet space. The authors clarified the definition of the concept of information-psychological security as a personal neoplasm, theoretically substantiated the criteria for its formation in adolescence, substantiated the dialectical relationship between social health and information-psychological security. The results of diagnostics of personal characteristics of university students at the age of 17-19 years, which are the internal determinants of the formation of information and psychological security of the individual, are presented.
