- Annotation: The article deals with the problem of the dynamics of the process of forming the value foundations of the information culture of students of secondary vocational education. The theoretical analysis of research on the formation of information culture is given, the stages of this process are presented: informing about the norms and values of information culture (formation of a holistic view and understanding of the value foundations of information culture.); presentation of samples of action in the information and educational environment (demonstration of a sample of action in the information and educational environment); activity-based mediation of information culture values (inclusion of students in value-oriented activities that allow them to gain experience in behavior and activity); stimulation of involvement and motivation of development in solving problems (support of persistent cognitive interest and development); reflexive processing of the experience gained (development of a reflexive position). Experimental activity is described. The author's complex of techniques for the diagnosis of the process under study is presented. The analysis of the results indicates the positive dynamics of the formation of the value foundations of information culture. The results of the empirical research and mathematical and statistical processing of the results confirm the effectiveness of the described work on the formation of the value foundations of the information culture of students of secondary vocational education on the basis of the stages of this process proposed by the author.
