Annotation: The article presents an analysis of the phenomenon of psychological resource from the theoretical and empirical points of view in adolescents with typical and impaired development. The resource is analysed from the point of view of its relevance in various difficult life situations, its meaningful description and available characteristics. The specificity of the use of resources depending on the presence of a defect in development is singled out: in the group of persons with disabilities, the dominant resource is trusting relationships with family and relatives, as well as sincerity, openness and cheerfulness, while respondents with typical development more often use independence, intelligence and self-respect. The relationship of resources with self-efficacy and reflexivity in a group of adolescents with developmental disorders is reflected.
Keywords: resource, difficult life situation, personality, adolescents with disabilities.
